The Newport Lodge Hotel is the perfect small owner-operated, full service hotel for business and private guests.

Located near the valleys of South Wales and the National Park, we also offer great value golf breaks. Whatever your reason for being in South Wales, we have all the facilities you would expect in a modern hotel, whilst at the same time offering the best in traditional hospitality.

With resident managers and friendly, efficient and professional staff, you will get the personal attention that will make your stay more relaxing. We are situated high on the hill just above Brynglas Tunnel on the M4, just off Junction 26.

Our location near to the main M4 junction means that we are only a 20 minute drive from Cardiff and 5 minutes from Cwmbran. All prices quoted include full Welsh breakfast. Dinner is served in our bistro Monday to Thursday evenings (limited availability on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings due to functions etc).

If you wish to dine on any of these nights then please do not hesitate to contact us directly and let us know and we will be happy to arrange something for you. You can have a relaxing drink in our adjacent bar while we take your order.
